By Car

Play Port is located next to the M8 motorway. Take junction 15 for the A803 to Kirkintilloch.

Driving time to Play Port from:

  • Glasgow City Centre – 10 minutes
  • Glasgow Airport – 15 minutes 
  • Prestwick Airport – 45 minutes 
  • Edinburgh – 1 hour 10 minutes
  • Stirling – 40 minutes

Parking: Pinkston Watersports Centre has a car park. Paid-for on street parking can also be found  on Borron Street.


Public Transport

By subway: From Cowcaddens subway station, walk under the M8 underpass and take a right up the hill. Take a right along Craighall Road and carry on along North Canal Bank Street.

By bus: The number 7, 7A and 75 buses run to nearby Garscube Road from Glasgow Central Station. The Play Port venues are a 10 minute walk from Garscube Road.
